Tour 1: Downtown Yerevan
Tour 1 describes and illustrates the tourist attractions of downtown Yerevan. It begins from the Republic Square in downtown Yerevan, where you can admire one of the most vivid expressions of Armenian modern architectural heritage. The tour guides you to the History Museum and the National Gallery of Armenia, the Charles Aznavour Square, and Vernissage flea market. The tour continues to the Sassountsi Davit Square and then to Arin Berd hill, on which Yerevan was founded, and extends to the Erebouni Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve. The tour offers an option to wrap up the day with a musical performance at the State Theatre of Musical Comedy, which was named after Hakob Paronyan.
