Children’s Yerevan
You can make your children’s stay exciting in Yerevan by visiting sites intended for children. There are many amusement parks, such as Luna Park, Victory Park, Chidren’s Railway, the Circus, Zoo and Water World. There are also a number of creation and development centers, such as Orange Elephant, Rainbow Child Development Center, Aladdin Children's Entertainment Center, etc. Orange Elephant is also a manufacturer of colorful and original arts and crafts products for children with a new generation of safe materials such as polymer clay, modeling dough, window paints, etc.
Children's Railway
Children's Railway is one of the most beautiful sites along Hrazdan canyon in Yerevan. It is located in a park.
The idea of creating the Children’s Railway in Yerevan belonged to the leader of Soviet Armenia Aghasi Khanjyan, and it was realized by the state plan in 1936. It was opened on November 7, 1937, on the day of the October Revolution.
Volunteers from Armenia and other Soviet Republics like Ukraine and Georgia worked on the construction. The first workers and service operators of the railway were children who later became experts in this sphere.
