Yerevan Basics :

Bus Connections

Buses and minibuses are available both for intercity and interstate connections. There are two main bus stations. The Kilikia Bus Station (Kilikia Avtokayan) is the Central Bus Station of Yerevan. Buses

to many regional destinations of Armenia (Echmiadzin, Armavir,

Gyumri, Karabakh) and abroad (Russia, Turkey, Georgia) depart

from this station located on Admiral Isahakov Avenue. The Kanaker Bus Station is located on the Tbilisi Highway on the Northern outskirts of Yerevan with service to Northeastern regions of Armenia.

Taxis operate from Yerevan to Echmiatsin at the intersection of Mashtots Avenue and Sarian Street. Daily service is available from 8 am to midnight. Tickets cost 400 AMD until 6 pm and

500 AMD thereafter.

Buses to Iran are also available, originating and terminating in front of Hotel Erebuni next to Republic Square.
