Tour 6: East and South of Yerevan
Tour 6 covers the areas to the east and south of Yerevan. It stretches from the Khor Virap Monastery and the ruins of Dvin—one of the historic capitals of Armenia, to the pagan temple of Garni and the medieval monastery of Geghard. The tour guides you through the breath-taking landscapes of the Garni Fortress and Symphony of Stones and then into the territory of the Khosrov State Reserve, one of the oldest protected areas in the world, which includes historic sites such as the Havuts Tar Monastery.
