AVC Multimedia e-Book Series e-Book#3: AGBU 100 Years of History (Vol. II) | Page 9

An organization such as the AGBU depends on the dedication of its thousands of members working in scores of branches throughout the world. There could be no concluding the present work without mentioning them. An extensive appendix therefore provides a list of all the branches and sections of the AGBU founded since 1906, beginning with those that are still active. Each and every branch, of course, deserves a monograph of its own–indeed, some of these monographs on individual branches of the Union have already been written. Our hope is that the present contribution will inspire others to discover the historian’s calling, and thus encourage them to undertake such studies in the years ahead. That would be the best possible way of honoring the thousands of members who have left their mark on AGBU history.

A documentary film by Manuel Toulajian is offered in conjunction with the present work. The film and the book are intended to be complementary.
