The AGBU Chapter in Brazil

The AGBU created a chapter in the biggest Armenian community in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1931. The Sao Paulo chapter, reactived in 1964, later built a large cultural and athletic center, thanks to a donation from Alex Manoogian. In the 1980s, the center was enriched by the addition of the Paren and Regina Bazarian School. The current president of the Brazil chapter is Carlos Der Harutyunian.
