Sathya was born in Brooklyn , NY by way of GA , married with 5 beautiful children . Becoming a mother at the young age of 14 , being a single parent raising 5 children on her own , homeless at a young age , living in foster care , experiencing neglect , and abuse , Sathya has continued to put her faith in God , knowing that all things happen in his time and for his glory ! Sathya ' s goal is to continue to show Gods love in all that she does , continue to be a leader , show that nothing is impossible , to help people overcome , be set free , and find their purpose in life .
Sathya Nelson is the owner of Kutie Patootie “ All Things Made Beautiful ” which opened October 2014 , making gift giving unique and fun ; they design Glamour & Style for Mother and Child . Director / Founder of Scars of Survival , founded August 2016 . Scars of Survival are an ongoing Non Profit Organization dedicated to helping victims of Domestic Violence transform their lives into greater things . Our goal is to bring awareness to oneself , how to love , trust , have faith , and build hope again . She is the Co Author of “ I Am Mother ’ s Edition ,” an affirmation book about mothers for mothers . This book has 31 stories & affirmations that will uplift and encourage moms .
She is a licensed and certified Nurse Assistant , Pharmacy Technician , Phlebotomist and Medical Office Assistant . She was actively involved in her husband ’ s unit in the Army as FRG Leader / Treasurer from the summer of 2014 to June 2015 . Sathya is currently an active member with PYT which is a Non Profit Organization to empower and enrich teens in our society . Among her many talents , she is a Domestic Violence Survivor & Advocate .
