Believe me ; God knows everything you will go through before you go through it . He really did know you before you were formed in the womb . Most importantly , you cannot stop God ’ s purpose for your life . You can delay the fulfillment of your purpose through procrastination or being slow to yield , but you cannot change GOD ’ S WILL .
. Allow me to be transparent for a moment , I will never understand why I was chosen for the assignment of being a victim of incest and With all that happened in my life after becoming a victim , in order to survive , the “ why ” it happened became irrelevant . Playing the blame game became no fun after the violator was dead and gone . What did matter is “ how ” I lived past my pain .
What was the lesson to be learned through all of this ? I know it sounds crazy , but as I told you in the beginning , you have to change your mind in order to keep your mind sometimes . Incest , one of the most painful of hurts , was my cross to bear and the residue of pain and heartbreak had me in a pit which I dwelled in for many years of my life . I didn ’ t die there I refused to die there , but it was not by my own might . I would have taken my life a long time ago , but it was God who held me in in his hands and wiped my tears and showed me how important my life is to him and how he truly gives the toughest battles to his strongest soldiers .
. The problem is that His bravest soldiers don ’ t understand their battle . I was recruited and didn ’ t know . I felt that I was unprepared and ambushed by life not long after coming through the birth canal . 1John 4:4 reads , “ you are from God , little children , and have overcome them : because greater is you than he that is in the in world ”.
Well I guess that this means that He would not send you into a battle without preparing you . The fact is that some take longer preparation than others we won ’ t yield to the purpose in the pain ; we just simply focus on the pain . We would rather remain bound and chained prisoners to our past which hinders the work we were designed to do
Yes , you were created for a purpose not just to exist in this world but to conquer and to overcome the things of this world . For every instance of pain there is a tale of triumph that goes along with it – if you can see past the storm . Some of us always seem to desire what someone else has . You don ’ t know what was paid or sacrificed in order for one to be where they are in their life .
What I endured was designed for me . God individualized my life be lived and carried out by me and me only . This means that I we will all go through some rough patches but we were all created to overcome . It is our inability to activate the power to overcome that causes the problem . I pray that there will be a shift in 2017 when you get that new view and change your perspective about some things , and decide that you are not going to allow yourself to be a victim anymore .
Think about it , whenever something ends it sets the precedence for some sort of beginning . At the end of a pregnancy there is a birth , which is the beginning of life . At the end of life brings death , which is the beginning of the afterlife .
At the end of hurt is healing and at the end of a storm is a rainbow and so on . Are you getting my drift , I know you are , so let ’ s just say it AT THE END OF BEING A VICTIM YOU CAN LIVE YOUR FULLEST POTENTIAL AS A SURVIVOR .
