Leslie is a best selling author, speaker, and event planner. She is the single mom of Jayden
Jackson (6).
Originally from Landover, MD. Residing, and currently in Greensboro, NC for over 14 years.She
dabbles in coaching & consulting small business owners as well. Leslie shares that It has become
her life's work, and ministry. Her business is 9 years old and she is preparing her son to take it over
when she is gone. Leslie is confident in the work that GOD has given her to do. She has faith that it
is all in HIS hands. She shows her son this daily as she pours continues to pour into him as well.
This family puts GOD first in everything and is not afraid to tell others publically about it. When asked
what makes her family special, Leslie shared, " I have trained myself to always remember our
bond. Nothing changes that, nothing trumps that. What we discuss and go through is between
us, and he can always talk to me if he feels lonely, scared, or worried. Communication and
achievement are big cornerstones in our home."
There's no doubt this family is authentic in every way. Their favorite things to do is enjoying hotel
stays. Leslie shares that if they could live in them, they would. They enjoy being able to jump on beds
to relieve some stress and have fun!
When we asked Leslie how motherhood changed her life, she shared, "It has made me more
patient and thoughtful. There is a huge shift from taking care of yourself to taking care of you
plus your child. It's a life changing understanding. I also am more aware than before of my own
emotions and how they affect those around me. Being a parent should and has made me more
responsible emotionally, financially and physically. I want to do well for his sake."
