Sharon Terry is CEO/Founder of Mattie Smothers Foundation Inc. which has been in existence since
2015. Sharon has been a Washingtonian for most of her life and now resides in Maryland. It was
during her time in Washington that she was exposed to and developed a heart for the homeless. She
currently works for individuals with disabilities while seeking opportunities to utilize MSFI to support
communities throughout Maryland.
The mission of MSFI is to break the chains of homelessness and poverty while raising awareness of
the seldom forgotten veterans and the elderly who are being physically, mentally and yes spiritually
abused and left alone to die.
The ultimate goal is to create a stress-free environment which inspires, empowers and equips others
with the necessary life skills which will help them to rebuild their lives.
