This helps the operator identify unknown services which they can trace to a connection point and then using the

transmitter improve accuracy further. The new 3 watt transmitter helps operators in more difficult locates on larger services associated with the water and pipeline industry. Induction mode for blind searches has also been vastly improved. For more demanding locates you can move up to the new Rycom 8869 & 8879 series with more functions, frequencies and more powerful transmitters.
