• Wastewater

We have proven processes that enable purified
wastewater to be re-used in agricultural, urban and

As both a project manager and water treatment expert,
we professionally manage all activities – including
design studies, plans, works and commissioning

• Networks
We are known for our excellence in managing the
complete range of services – such as operation,
maintenance, process optimisation, technical support
and service continuity – to ensure the smooth
running of all plants and networks.
In partnership with parent company SUEZ
ENVIRONNEMENT, Degremont Australia has established
a significant presence in the contracted management of
water and wastewater networks. In South Australia, as a
member of the Allwater consortium, Degremont Australia
supplies water, wastewater and recycled water services
to 1 million people in the city of Adelaide. In Western
Australia, as a member of the Aroona Alliance, we
operate and maintain all water production, wastewater
and reuse assets, including dams, for the city of Perth’s
1.9 million residents.

We also have extensive experience in the design, build
and operation of wastewater treatment plants, including
the Noosa Sewage Treatment Plant (12 MLD) and the
Pimpama Wastewater Treatment Plant (17 MLD) in QLD;
as well as the Cronulla Wastewater Treatment Plant (52
MLD) in NSW, and the Hutt Valley Wastewater Treatment
Plant (53 MLD) in Wellington, New Zealand.
We provide innovative, high-performing water and
wastewater networks of all sizes, delivered using the
most appropriate service model for the situation.
• Equipment
We provide all the necessary general and specific
water treatment equipment needs of our customers
within the municipal, industrial, mining, oil and gas,
food and beverage and power industries.
• Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT)
We provide a fully-integrated and optimised service
for financing, building and operating facilities that
allows us to efficiently transfer each plant back to our
customer at the end of the contract.

Degremont Australia has more than 65 reference sites
– including 26 water treatment plants, 2 desalination
plants, 23 wastewater treatment plants and 14 water
reuse plants and schemes – throughout the country,
and is committed to sharing our expertise with the
Australian water industry.
Degremont Australia has a number of notable
drinking water references including the Prospect
Water Filtration Plant (3,000 MLD) in NSW that
supplies 85% of Sydney’s population, the Perth
Seawater Desalination Plant (144 MLD) in WA, and
the Victorian Desalination Plant (450 MLD) for the
people of Melbourne.
