SAS Water Solutions are an integral part of
the SAS Solutions Group which has expertise
in Water, Facilities and Business Solutions.
SAS Water Solutions have specialised chemistries,
biological treatment and engineered systems specific to:
• Cooling tower water system management
• Potable and tepid water systems
• Heating and chilled water systems

SAS provide essential engineering design, water
treatment solutions, and operational services through
our experienced and qualified people working in
partnership with our customers. Our customers
include Goodman, Inghams, Melbourne Olympic
Park, Spotless (ADFA Defence) and Iriki Island Resort
in Vanuatu to name just a few.

As a result the treated water feeds the toilets
in Bondi Pavilion, irrigation and cleaning. It is
controlled by state of the art water treatment and
monitoring technology. The benefits are over 50
million litres of water saved each year, the water
quality at Bondi Beach is improved, the open space
maintained because the system is underground and
the carbon neutral operation.

The Bondi Beach Storm Water Harvesting and water
re-use project runs into a four-stage process:

• Hydrotherapy pools
1. Bio-retention system

• Water features
• Boiler and condensate water system management
• Industrial and commercial wastewater treatment
• Water purification, reuse and harvesting
• Sewage treatment plant
• Odour reduction systems
• Process water membrane process equipment

2. Underground pit and screen diverts storm water
from entering drainage line
3. Filtration and disinfection to remove fine particles
and pathogens
4. 300 kL storage tank (size of six average swimming
pools) for Storm water harvesting
