Frank Jell Commissioning Services Pty Ltd was established
in March 1997 when four senior technicians, with over 120
years of experience in auditing, commissioning, hot smoke
testing and successful handing over of a wide range of
building mechanical and fires services decided to form
their own business.
Specialising in building mechanical fire services testing.
Our hot smoke generating equipment is second to none
and is able to handle test of all sizes, from a fume
cupboard to floor areas greater than 25 acres.
Our business provides a service in excellence to the Industry
by running a strong team of commissioning personnel and
this team is kept up to the current standards and
procedures with regular training and updating sessions.
Our instrumentation is limited to brands we know for
reliability and accuracy such as Shortridge, Alnor,
Lambrecht and Fluke. Our services include:
Balancing Airflows - Balancing airflows ensures that all
areas of a building receive the correct proportion of
conditioned air.
Water Balancing - Water balancing is an important aspect
of air conditioning. It ensures optimum performance and
accurate control of closed-circuit, forced circulation water
systems, for heating and cooling giving the occupants a
better comfort level.
Smoke Testing - All hot smoke testing is provided by
shearing highly refined medicinal grade oil which leaves
zero residue with heat provided by LP Gas.
Stairwell Pressurization - An integral part of fire safety
measures is to pressurise building stairwells to prevent
smoke or fire entering the path of escape.
Laboratory Testing - Air leakage testing of Physical
Containment Laboratories and accessories at Queensland
Health Scientific Laboratories Centre at Coopers Plains.
Envelope/Building Leakage - We use fan pressurisation
testing of buildings to show compliance with the Building
Regulations.
Ultrasonic Fluid Measurement - Balancing of flow volumes
ensures optimum performance of all areas of the facility.
Thermal Imaging - Thermal imaging is the fastest and
safest method of early problem detection on electrical,
mechanical and process equipment, as well as the
building envelope.
