Australian Esoteric Issue 6 | Page 3

EDITORIAL As this sixth edition of Australian Esoteric goes live we welcome our new subscribers and are heartened to see that our last issue was downloaded by readers in locations including UAE, Brazil, Ghana, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia and the Philippines. Continuing support from USA, Canada and UK readers tells us that interest in the paranormal and esoteric mysteries of our Great Southern Land extends well beyond our borders. Australian Esoteric remains all about the emerging New Humanity on this Ancient and Sacred Land, embracing its often-overlooked legacy along with a vision of hope for its future. In that vein, we keenly follow the works of Steven and Evan Strong as they reveal the truth of Australia’s Forgotten Origins, and also the insights of Mary Rodwell as she investigates the appearance of the New Humans in our world. Both parties have been very generous in granting us permission to quote from their ongoing researches, with more articles appearing in this and future issues. We begin this month with a snapshot of Paulina Howfield’s mission in our People section. Your editor attended her presentation at the recent Paradigm Shift Summit and picked up a copy of her guided meditation CD ‘Hitching Post of the Sun,’ a refreshingly unique Earth Healing Meditation at Macchu Picchu. Once again Arjun Walia has contributed an article to our Healing department, where each month we present a blend of ancient and modern alternative therapies. As we delve into Australia’s little-known occult and esoteric past in this month’s History, our subject is the esteemed Aboriginal artist Rover Thomas as portrayed by the late prolific author and publisher Nevill Drury. Nevill himself is worthy of our admiration and will be in the spotlight in a future edition of this magazine. In Oceania we feature an account of the PNG Boianai UFO Sightings of the 1950s by Peter Kranz. New Guinea provides a wealth of paranormal and occult stories and we will continue to investigate that country, along with New Zealand and the Antarctic, in the Oceania department in upcoming issues. It looks like the coming year 2018 will be brimming with consciousness-raising events and we will be more than happy to publicise your festivals, fairs and workshops anywhere around Australasia – just email us at [email protected]. Enjoy! Paul V Young Editor
