School Life: Shania attends Easterling Primary School in
Marion where she strives “to make good grades and be one of
the smartest kids in her school.” Her favorite subject is Science-
she loves trying to figure out how and why things happen.
She hopes that one day, she can be a Marion High School
Cheerleader and go to the University of South Carolina just like
her daddy, or as she calls it, “Gamecock School.”
Her Future Dreams: Shania has a lot of aspirations, but she has
narrowed down her career goals to the these top three: 1) She
would like to be an artist who makes “real” money. She loves to
draw, paint, and make sculptures. She would rather have pencil
and paper over any toy. 2) She would like to be a veterinarian.
She loves all types of animals and would like to be able to take
care of them and help them if they get sick. 3) She also dreams
of being a paleontologist because she loves the idea that no one
has ever seen a real dinosaur. She says that although she’s sure
all the dinosaurs will be discovered by the time she’s a grown up,
she would still like to study about them to teach other people
about dinosaurs.
Shania is five-years-old and attends Easter-
ling Primary School. She resides in Marion,
South Carolina, with her parents, Gary and
Shamaria.
