she wears. I buy a lot of her clothing & also stuff from Iron Fist. It's funky, glam and punky. I love bright colours like pinks and yellow, but then I'm always in black as that is my fav colour!!
What's your all-time favourite Rock song?
This is a really paradoxical question lol... you got me here! I have so many infact. Ok, I know this is cheating but am I allowed 3? Ok, I love "Big Love" by Fleetwood Mac, "No Quarter" by Led Zeppelin and "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Oh and I also love "Gimme Shelter" by The Rolling Stones. Its hard to decide. I can't decide!!!! OMG I Love David Bowie too!! Whenever I hear Ziggy stardust it makes me want to do housework. It's my hoovering song.
You'll be supporting Republica in November, how do you feel about this gig as they were your childhood favourites?
I am sooooo steamed up for this!! Having just moved into the punk field, we kind of both fit right in musically. When I got the gig I was overwrought with passion. I just wanted to tell everybody but I wasn't allowed to straight away. So, keeping something in like this and keeping a secret totally destroyed me mentally. I am raving now about this gig, it's the biggest thing I have done so far & I'm very proud of myself actually.
To look back over my shoulder to those 5 years ago when I was a nobody... and now seeing how far I've come and how hard I have worked. I kind of feel like I deserve this really. I am patting myself on the back as we speak lol. I guess the universe is rewarding me? That's how I see it. I remember when I was 10 years old and my dad used to play Republica in the car when picking us up from school. My dad was mad on them. Never in a million years did I ever think I would be playing on their stage! It's prodigious!
What does music mean to you?
Music is the blood that runs through my veins keeping me alive! Without music I am nothing.
