of age where negative news feeds and social media rule our minds. Trying to search for meaning in my work gives me comfort and a better understanding of myself and my surroundings. I hope the listeners will be able to find their own answers to their emotions while listening to VAN ELST. During their search for explanation, I imagine people dancing to their own downheartedness, darkest dreams and desires with my music as a soundtrack to their physical motions bringing them to higher spirits.
Creating a positive emotional effect on others and gaining recognition in something so close to you is a sense I am curious to experience.
If you don't feel like going to a crowded gig, I recommend listening to the music with a headphone splitter as I believe sharing music in this intimate way can bring us closer in interesting ways.

VAN ELST’s debut video was released on May 16 and will be followed by a 3 track EP due to come out in June. Currently VAN ELST is working on a live set and plans to perform in and around London. Upcoming shows will be announced on his website in the coming month.
