We only have a small group of people who are cutting the grass and we would like some volunteers to help us, as the more helpers we have, the less each person has to do. There are many people in Atworth who have their loved ones in the churchyard and we are hoping some of you may like to help us keep it tidy. If anyone thinks they could spare some time please contact Brian Mitchell on 01225 709317. We Need Your Curtains We would like to set up a "Curtain Exchange" to help the older and more vulnerable residents who may not have the benefit provided by good curtains. We are asking people to donate their unwanted curtains and poles to us so that we can then get them put up in the homes of older people that don't have them - especially over doors. If you think that you may be able to help please contact: Jo on 07541 353430 or Caroline on 07557 922031 or email wgn@communityfirst.org.uk Jo Ecclestone, Wiltshire Good Neighbours SHORT MAT BOWLS Short mat bowls takes place in the village hall every Thursday evening from 7pm and they are keen to add to their team. It is just like green bowling but indoors on a much shorter length, otherwise just the same. If green bowling is something you would like to have a go at this is an ideal introduction, and who knows you may get hooked.
