Hakusembe Lodge ***
Location:
One of the gems in the Caprivi, situated on the banks of the
Kavango River you will find this tranquil oasis called
Hakusembe. Situated only 16km’s from the nearest town
Rundu, it offers a welcome break and stop over on the long
route into the Caprivi.

Built in the wattle and daub style, under Mopane trees, and
connected by a labyrinth of paths, the main building and
chalets of the lodge look like an African village. The walls are
adorned with copies of the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein.
There is a swimming pool for cool relaxation and a viewing
point from which you can enjoy the sunset and the starstudded night sky
Rooms:
55 rooms, all of the double-room chalets rest in a vegetable
and herb garden, surrounded by a low wall. (The gardens
supply fresh ingredients for supper)
Facilities:
Facilities include a reception area, restaurant, bar and viewing
deck with beautiful views over the Mopane woodland area. A
big beautiful swimming pool offers a cool oasis in the heat of
the day. All rooms include air -conditioning and en suite
bathrooms.
