KwaZulu Natal Drakensberg Mountains The uKhahlamba-Drakensberg mountain range is the highest point south of Kilimandaro, peaking at 3482 meters above sea level, and offers incredible natural beauty and a wealth of recreational activities. The mountains offers you spectacular views with rich historical value, and is considered one of South Africa's most popular natural attractions. Due to its large array of plant life and the richest collection of San rock paintings in Africa, the Drakensberg has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Drakensberg can be accessed through the southern border of the Free State, Lesotho and Kwazulu-Natal. The Elephant Coast The Elephant Coast of KwaZulu-Natal stretches from the world-renowned HluhluweUmfolozi Park and iSimangaliso Wetland Park in the south, to Kosi Bay on the Mozambique border in the north. The region extends west to the Lebombo mountains and includes the Hluhluwe–Umfolozi Game Reserve, the oldest Game Reserve in Africa.
