Where we are now
Since 1999 the company has substantially
evolved, and are now the makers of the only
endpoint security solution that blocks modern
threats such as APTs, zero day attacks, polymor-
phic viruses, ransomware, and fileless malware.
In 2017, the PC Pitstop team has continued to
make advancements to both its home and en-
terprise security solu-
tions.

Traditional blacklisting and application whitelist-
ing methods were not effective in blocking these
threats.
Therefore, the PC Pitstop team researched and
designed a specific hooking process to identify
and block fileless malware attacks.
To date, 25% of the malware blocked by PC Ma-
tic are malicious scripting attacks.
