‘ASTORS’
The SpotterRF/FLIR integration efficiently and cost-effective-
ly covers both large and small areas, can see hundreds of
yards beyond the fence line, automatically cues the camera,
and alerts security personnel all without the help of a human
operator.
There are more than 55,000 electrical sub-
stations in the United States, which provide
critical light and power to over 300 million
people. Protecting the perimeters of these substations is
important, but unfortunately this risk exists even
without a threat needing to breach the substation
perimeter.
If just a handful of these substations were ren-
dered inoperable, the U.S. could face a severe
blackout that could permanently damage the
