I have spent much of my adult life seeking
a missing piece of myself. I had no idea where
to look and I really didn’t even know if I would
recognize it when I saw it. For as long as I can
recall, I have been hearing projections of others
telling me things like “You are too much, too loud,
too strong, too driven, too sensitive, too needy,
too independent.” This list goes on. I felt like I was
existing in the fringe; not a part; not fitting in. The
piece of me I was seeking was the space where I
was just enough.
In a dark moment of depression, when I was not
sure how to face the life I was suffering through,
I felt a warm, safe presence. She comforted me
and showered me in assurance and stability. As
the energy supported me, I heard “You were born
for this.” I instantly knew I was in the presence of
Joan of Arc.
