So I made the decision to become a full time stay at home mom and there I remained for the next 21 years. I put away my books by Napoleon Hill and Earl Nightingale and began learning from the two success teachers who called me mom. Of course, everyone thought I had gone out of my mind and that my career would be doomed if I left at the height of my success. I told them that I had to be true to my own teaching and I was going to follow the impulses of my intuition and trust that it would lead me to even greater good, as I told my students to do. After 21 years having the time of my life raising my daughter and my son who was born three years later, I came back to even more success than I had before as my former students, now transformational teachers and NY Times bestselling authors got me speaking engagements, book contracts, and on webinars and summits. I even formed a partnership with one of my students that grew into a multi-million dollar seminar company. And finally, the third key, if you want true success, is how important it is to treat people well. In fact, to always treat the persona standing in front of you as the most important person in the world. You never who that person is today or who they will be tomorrow. My kids’ babysitter is now the owner of one of the largest event production companies in the world and who do you think she calls when she needs someone to talk about creating true success. She remembers that I always treated her as the most important person in the world. One of my students who was homeless when she came to my seminar for the first time is now a multiple-time NY Times bestselling author and a world renown speaker. Who do you think she calls when her promoter needs a speaker in Japan or Thailand? So enjoy the journey, listen to that inner voice that will always give you the best guidance, and treat everyone as the most important person in the world and you will be blessed with a life of true and lasting success.
