Here’s a meditation you can use when you feel overwhelmed by fear: • Take a deep breath to ground and center, and also connect to the divine (whatever that is for you) to create a safe sacred space for healing. • Bring your awareness into your body, asking for your fear to come forward. • Focus your attention on that area of your body that is holding fear. How does it feel? Notice all of the sensations, physically and emotionally, associated with this fear. Does the fear still serve a purpose for you, or are you ready to let it go? • Now bring love and light to surround the fear. Thank the fear for how it has protected you all this time. • Give your body permission to soften and allow the fear to be released. Envision the fear moving out of your body and being taken away to be transformed. If you feel resistance, ask to know what that might be, that it may be healed as well. Take all the time you need. • F  eel the gentle warmth of healing light flow through your body, bringing healing to all the space where the fear used to be. Fill that space and your entire being with whatever you need to heal, nourish and sustain you. Love, light, joy, peace...allow it to fill your body, mind, heart and soul. • Feel gratitude for all you have received, sending love, light and gratitude all around you. • Ask the fear if it has any message for you, anything that you need to acknowledge or understand before it can be cleared from you. this happen without realizing it? That’s the thing, it happens so gradually, and for a necessary purpose to protect us, that we don’t notice how it stealthily hi-jacks our entire way of being. take some time to reprogram your thinking and remind yourself that you don’t need to react in fear and can adopt a new way.
