My work with the Divine Feminine has provided me the tools the cultivate the compassion that I never knew I was capable of. It comes from a place of genuine caring and love and once the flow starts, it is virtually impossible to stem. Every person has wounds we cannot see, and the reality is that no matter how awful our own struggle is, every other person is also embroiled in what may seem insurmountable to them. There are days that one of my principle struggles is just keeping myself in check and not boiling over because I am so stressed out and spread so thin. (I also have teenagers, so that explains lots)! It is in these moments that I am very intentional about stepping back from the annoyances of my day and I take a deep breath. As I breathe compassion in and exhale stress and judgment, I take the opportunity to share the flow of compassion with others, especially those I don’t know. In the current climate of the world, it is my duty to share as much compassion, joy and presence as I possibly can. As you read this, please know that I am sharing the flow of compassion and kindness with you, right now, in this very moment. I invite you to step into that flow and feel the warmth and vibration washing away your stress. Know that I care and so do so many others. These are the three sacred steps I take to remind myself of the compassion I deserve to receive, and I want to share them. 1. Become aware of your space 2. I prefer to do this exercise in the form of a waking meditation. I find a spot to sit comfortably. It can be done anywhere. Sometimes, it is in my car in the back corner of a parking lot.
