Catering
The Grand Marquee has outstanding on-site kitchen facilities that can be used by external
caterers, which makes Wynyard Hall the perfect venue for Asian weddings.
We have developed excellent working relationships with a number of caterers who now
have experience of the venue and our team, however you are more than welcome to
source your own preferred company, subject to our prior approval.
In order to ensure the best quality experience for you and your guests, all caterers must
provide a copy of their public liability certificate, food hygiene rating certificate from the
Local Authority and HACCP food plan prior to your wedding.
The HACCP plan identifies how your caterer keeps food safe from biological, chemical and
physical food safety hazards and must include the following: Identify any hazards that must
be avoided, removed or reduced; identify the critical control points – points when you need
to prevent, remove or reduce a hazard in your work process; set limits for the critical control
points; demonstrate how the critical control points are monitored; demonstrate how things
have been rectified if there is a problem with a critical control points; demonstrate there are
checks in place to make sure the plan is working; demonstrate good record maintenance.
Your chosen caterer would be required to attend a meeting with our operations team and
kitchen liaison at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding to confirm final arrangements.
Please note, our kitchens are not fitted with gas stoves – your caterer will need to
provide these if required. We do provide a covered outdoor
area in which your caterer can operate.
Caterers are only permitted access to The Grand Marquee on the day of your wedding.
