ASIAN , Inc . is a HUD-approved Local Housing Counseling Agency that has assisted over 1,000 clients in foreclosure prevention counseling , educated over 15,000 low-to-moderate income ( LMI ) and limited English proficiency ( LEP ) clients seeking to become first-time homeowners , and rehabilitated and resold over $ 8 million in REO homes to LMI families .
ASIAN , Inc . is the operator of three Business Centers on behalf of the U . S . Department of Commerce ’ s Minority Business Development Agency ( MBDA ). Since 2007 , the Centers have led to the creation or and retention of over 4,000 jobs . This was achieved by helping MBDA
clients obtain over $ 760 million in contracts and capital awards .
