Roland offers the V-60HD for live production

For live production operators who need to manage both video and audio , Roland Corporation is offering the V-60HD , a plug-and-play production switcher with audio for live event
Taku Uesugi , assistant manager , market development department , Roland Corporation , is introducing the V-60HD production switcher to BroadcastAsia2018 visitors . and streaming .
Taku Uesugi , assistant manager , market development department , Roland Corporation , highlights : “ For video operators who may not be as accustomed to working with audio , the V-60HD offers a convenient and easy-to-use audio mixer .”
The V-60HD is equipped with four SDI inputs ( with de-interlacer ), two HDMI inputs ( scaled ), two SDI outputs assignable to PGM , PVW and AUX , as well as two HDMI outputs assignable to PGM , PVW and AUX .
User can also use a remote-control device , such as a computer that supports RS-232 ; and this can be connected to remotely support the V-60HD . A multiviewer connector outputs the input / output video list , the audio level meter , as well as the on-screen display menu .
The V-60HD is also able to support smart tally functionality , where a smartphone can be used as an operating interface .

Cobalt expands 4K / UHD and HDR support for openGear platform

Cobalt Digital is exhibiting the 9904-UDX-4K-12G UHD 12G / 3G / HD / SD-SDI up / down / cross-converter , which is now available for shipping .
Equipped with Cobalt ’ s latest generation of advanced image and audio processors for the openGear platform , the 9904-UDX-4K base card provides 3G-SDI and 12G-SDI I / O with SDI mixing and demixing and up / down / cross-conversion . Other options include RGB colour correction and SDR-to-HDR up-mapping via Technicolor ’ s high dynamic range ( HDR ) Intelligent Tone Management ( ITM ) processing .
Alongside the 9904-UDX-4K , Cobalt is also showcasing the 9971-MV18-4K series of openGear multiviewers . Featuring support for
