Amagi is showcasing its Cloudport playout system at BroadcastAsia2018 , and has indicated that it is reasonably happy with the quality of the visitors at its booth 4F5-02 .

“ This is our third year at BroadcastAsia , and we have found that the response has improved markedly from last year . Apart from our regular customers , we have had a few new prospective customers paying us a visit at our booth ,” said Amagi ’ s co-founder Baskar S .

China ’ s Swit Electronics is highlighting its four key product lines — batteries , LCD monitors , wireless transmission systems and lights .

For batteries , the company offers the PB-S series square Li-ion , which offers up to 4x D-tap output sockets and a USB 5V / 2A power output socket . In the same range is the PB-R series 160Wh / 290Wh heavy-duty Li-ion batteries , and the PB-S series 98Wh / 220Wh multi-socket square Li-ion batteries .

LCD monitor choices include the CM-S70F , a 7-inch full HD LCD monitor offering 1100nit brightness ; FM17 , a 17-inch HD film LCD monitor ; FM-21HDR , a 21.5-inch high brightness , high dynamic range ( HDR ) film LCD monitor offering 1,000nit brightness ; FM-24DCI 24- inch DCI gamut production LCD monitor ; and FM-32QUAD , a 31.5- inch 4K / Ultra HD ( UHD ) quad view director monitor .

Swit Electronics is also offering the CW-H150 wireless system , which is based on WHDI wireless technology , and supports uncompressed HDMI transmission up to 150m . It also supports HDMI embedded audio transmission and dynamic frequency switch ( DFS ).

At booth 6P3-04 , visitors can also check out the PL-E series of SMD LED lights , which comes with 60W / 90W power consumption , and is available in four models — PL-E60D , PL-E90D , PL-E90 and PL-E60 .

“ Our main intention of taking part in BroadcastAsia2018 is to invite our regular customers to meet us , and bring them up-to-date with our latest offerings ,” says Duncan Potter , ARRIS ’ senior vice-president — marketing .

One of its offerings at the show is a high-performance Wi-fi system that is easy to use — it ’ s the HOMEASSURE management system suitable for the environment and home … and highly recommended by operators for use by their subscribers .

Potter says : “ This is our fourth successive year at BroadcastAsia ,

and we found the response to be about the same as it was last year ’ s . We are hoping that there will be even better response today , the last day of the show .”
