For one of its three-member visiting contingent, Day 1 turned out to be a lucky day — Thanatchon Jang Khum became the first winner of APB’s daily lucky draw. All she did was to clip her name card to a form to tick off the kind of news she was most interested to read, such as general broadcast news, best workflow practices, cameras and edit machines, software-driven tools, and so on, and drop the form at APB’s Booth 6D4-04 at Level 6, Suntec Singapore and be present during the draw at 5pm. Presenting the Apple Nike Series 3 watch to Thanatchon was APB’s chief marketing officer, Kylie Chua. Thanatchon, pointing at the Apple watch, smiled: “It’s my lucky day. Look what I am receiving from APB.” The next lucky draw for a black Apple Nike watch is at 5pm today. It’s easy to participate … and while at the APB booth do have your photo taken and printed on a simulated Page 1 of APB@ConnecTechAsia Show News … a free fun takeaway to remind you of your visit to BroadcastAsia2018. Asked about the show, Than- atchon said: “Besides Singapore, a lot of foreign exhibitors are at the show to showcase innovative technologies in the broadcast sector. We find them very interesting; that’s why we came from Thailand to look for solutions to suit our needs. “Tomorrow, we will also be vis- iting CommunicAsia2018, which is a part of ConnecTechAsia2018, so that we can look for more advanced technologies in these areas.” The crowds witnessing the first Apple draw yesterday … if you missed it, there is another draw today and another tomorrow, both at 5pm.
