Postium excels with widest
range of 4K HDR monitors
Postium, less than 20 years old, is al-
ready an established trusted supplier
of professional broadcast, movie and
studio equipment. That is the proud

Korean company which has devel-
oped, engineered and manufactured
LCD rack monitors that are today
widely used by broadcast stations
and OB (outside broadcast) vans

giving pride of place to its OBM-X310
31” Grade 1 True HDR 4K monitor,
which is without doubt the best in
the field. Designed for professional
production and post-production
work, the OBM-X310 offers several
advanced features, including superb
black.
“It also supports various HDR
gamma curves, such as PQ, HLG and
S-Log3,” says Poh, reeling off a range
of imposing technical specifications.
“The monitor features a wide
viewing angle IPS panel, 4096X2160
17:9 aspect ratio, 1000cd per square
metre high brightness, 1,000,000:1
high contrast, wide colour gamut, and
various HDR which make it ideal for
colour grading in a mastering suite.
“Moreover, it provides the in-
dustry-leading wide colour gamuts,
complies with the DCI-P3 colour
space with gamut ratio 114% and
gamut coverage 99%, and supports
the BT.2020 colour space. This ensures
that colours are reproduced according
to industry standards.”
For budget-conscious custom-
ers who do not need a product this
sophisticated, and are happy with
something a little less in the premium
range, Postium offers the OBM U Se-
ries 4K professional LCD monitors in
five sizes — 9”, 17”, 24”, 31” and 55”.

performance and accurate colour
reproduction, which makes these
monitors ideal for 4K live produc-
tion, versatile monitoring and field

12G-SDI input and loopout (*x2),
