Fujifilm aims to be a game-changer
in the cinema lens market
Regardless of what format you are shoot-
ing in, or what your production budget is,
Fujifilm has lined up a range of lenses to suit
all your needs.
For instance, the company’s new line of
E-Mount cine zooms targets documentary-
style cine shooters and low-budget produc-
tions. Two models are available — the MK18-
55mm T2.9 and MK50-135mm T2.9 — with
both weighing less than 1kg.
Both lenses feature a non-focus shift
mechanism, a non-breathing focus mecha-
nism and fully-geared cine lens controls.
They are also equipped with a macro func-
tion that lets users close focus from 0.38m
