AGHF is located at 401 North Medical Drive, Ash Grove, MO 65604 417-751-2575 Resident of the Month, Genevieve Creed Genevieve “Jean” Creed was born May 23, 1923, to parents Del and Christy Hall of Morrisville, Mo. She had two sisters, Yeaneama Hawkins and Juanita Douglas, who are now deceased. Genevieve attended Willard High School and graduated in 1940. She went to Burge School of Nursing to become an registered nurse, and worked as the EKG Supervisor at Cox North Hospital for 20 years. Genevieve married Winfred Creed and he passed away in 1967. The couple had three sons, Larry, Terry and Tom Creed. Genevieve also has five grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Genevieve worked for 10 years at Lily Tulip and also was a homemaker and mother. She married Francis Creed and the couple lived in Walnut Grove until he passed away in 2014. Genevieve was involved in the Eastern Stars for several years. Her hobbies included embroidery and crochet work, growing vegetables and flowers, fishing, collecting cups, and family events. She likes to listen to gospel, country, classical and easy listening music. Genevieve is a member of the First Baptist Church of Walnut Grove, Mo.
