AGHF is located at 401 North Medical Drive, Ash Grove, Mo. 65604 417-751-2575 Resident of the Month, Howard Rhudy Howard K. Rhudy was born July 7, 1919, to Floyd and Ada Mae Rhudy in Oklahoma. In his family, he one of 10 children. Howard attended schools in Oklahoma, Colorado and Kansas. On June 5, 1948, Howard married Mary Towe in New Mexico. Together they have been blessed with two children: Randy Rhudy of Ash Grove and Rhonda Rhudy of Grand Junction, Colo. They also have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren . Howard is World War II Army Air Core Veteran who served for five and a half years in the Philippines and New Guinea. He is also a member of the local VFW. Howard and Mary owned and operated a 30-acre farm in Wiley, Colo., where they raised cattle, hogs, chickens and harvested hay crop. He also worked for the water and gas companies in Kansas and Colorado. Howard’s enjoys pets, holiday events, music and eating sweets. His hobbies include: watching hunting, fishing and game show television, and rock collecting. Howard and Randy were privileged to take the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. That was a great trip. According to his family, “he was always a great father.” Howard was a member of the Methodist Church. Lacey Moore has been chosen as AGHCF’s January Employee of the Month. Lacey was selected by her peers for her dedication to AGHCF and our residents. The Employee of the Month for February has yet to be determined. The individual who is selected will be featured in the March edition of the Rocking Chair News.
