AGHF is located at 401 North Medical Drive, Ash Grove, MO 65604 417-751-2575 Resident of the Month, Cleo Lollar Cleo Lollar was born March 25,1939, to par- ents John and Ma- rie Lollar in Dade County, Missouri. Cleo attended the Arcola grade school, then graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957. Cleo met Elaine through a mutual friend in Kansas City, Kansas, where Elaine was born. The couple married on May 19, 1972, in the Emerson Park Christian Church in Kansas City. To- gether they have a family of two chil- dren; son, Brett, and wife, Mindy Lollar, and daughter, Tracy, and husband, Vic Mosby. They have nine wonderful grandchildren. Cleo is an Army veteran serving from 1962-1964 during peacetime at Ft. Leon- ard Wood, Missouri. Cleo worked in Kansas City at Fairfax District Ware- house Fiberglas Insulation for 42 years. The couple are members of the Main Street Baptist church of Greenfield, Missouri since 1989. Cleo taught a Sun- day school class and served on the building committee for the new church out south of Greenfield. Cleo has been a beef cattle farmer all of his life and farming was what he enjoyed doing every day. The couple liked to entertain three dogs and a cat, Chiefs and Royals ball games, watching westerns, doing family events. Cleo speaks of their 10 year old granddaughter Delaney with a smile on his face. Their travels have taken them to Canada, all of the western states and some eastern states. They like to fre- quent the Back woods Café in Green- field. At the kids ballgames he was a real boisterous supporter of the team. Elaine says the children always warned their friends of his use of loud words that he liked to use to bluff the kids. Cleo’s motto is “Live for God.” We’ve enjoyed having Cleo at Ash Grove Healthcare Facility since March 2019. Congratulations on being chosen as resident of the month. The Employee of the Month for Au- gust has yet to be determined. The individual who is selected will be featured in the September edition of the Rocking Chair News.
