Resident of the Month,
Nell Moore
Nell Moore was born Dec. 5,
1924, to parents Arthur and Eu-
na Mae White in Nashville,
Tennessee. Nell has nine sib-
lings. She attended Central
High School in Springfield.
Nell met Billy Moore and
the couple were married May
17, 1945. Nell was a stay at
home mother of two children
Joey Moore and Christy Hewitt.
She has two grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.
Nell is a member of the
Springfield Bible Church. She
loved to be at home and while
she was cleaning house she
would put on LP records listen-
ing to Marty Robbins, Show
tunes and Ray Charles to help
her with her work. Nell did a lot
of sewing. She made clothes for
her children and their dolls. Her
hobbies include, playing bingo, lis-
tening to music, attending music pro-
grams, Bible study groups, exercise
class, games, puzzles and taking
walks.
