Has ABIM Gone Too Far?

Recently, the American Board of
Internal Medicine (ABIM) announced plans to implement
new Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements,
including requiring physicians
to complete some MOC activity
every two years and accrue 100
MOC points every five years. If
they fail to do so, physicians will
be reported as “Not Meeting
MOC Requirements.”

requirements have been met
