AsBAA Discovery AsBAA Discovery enjoyed participation in the Singapore Airshow this month and opened the door for the Women in Aviation panel held at the ERAU Asia chalet during the show. Two students from our ERAU Asia chapter attended the AsBAA networking event and met various members. It was great to see the students actively participating in the event and meeting people from various SARAH KALMETA parts of the industry. AsBAA Board of Governors Board of Director members Phil Balmer and Gary Moran, Tom Warren, and I sat down with the two ambassadors Andrew Beyseka and Leon Lim to help answer some questions they had on business aviation in Singapore to aid them on their projects. We look forward to the work the student chapter will produce! Discovery is growing exponentially in size and coverage and we are excited about recent developments in the Philippines and Hong Kong. We are adding more manpower to the team and look forward to announcing more details around ABACE. AsBAA Represents Women in Aviation This month, Sarah Kalmeta, member of the AsBAA Board of Governors also represented AsBAA at the Women in Aviation panel discussion which was hosted by Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) at the Singapore Airshow. Sarah is a former ERAU student and leads on the relationship between AsBAA and ERAU under AsBAA Discovery. This advocacy work between our respective organisations now extends to promoting and encouraging greater gender equality in business aviation. www.asbaa.org Not yet a member of AsBAA? Join us!
