With Clint Eastwood and the cast at the premiere of Jersey Boys at the LA Film Festival
director" sessions. I suppose it also meant I was taken
more seriously!
In 2013 you were cast as Wendy Darling in Once
Upon a Time. What was it like to be a part of such
a popular show with a very devoted following?
Working on Once was a really fun experience! I
hadn't seen the show previously but watched it upon
landing my role. I didn't realize how popular it was
until I started speaking to people and they mentioned
how either they or someone they knew loved it! I
have met a lot of uber drivers with family members
who watch and love it too. Ubering is really good
promotion, lol!!
You played the young Francine Valli in the 2014
film Jersey Boys, directed b y Clint Eastwood. How
did you find the experience of working with a
movie legend like Clint Eastwood? Was it
intimidating for you?
It was a fantastic experience to say the least! My
favourite era for film is the 70s and 80s - the golden
era - and so to work with someone who was a major
filmmaker at the forefront of that was incredible, a
dream come true! I'm a massive fan and he is just so
down to earth and a very, very special human being!!
He's got a real cheeky sense of humour too!
In 2014 you had the lead role in The Choking
Game, a feature made for the Lifetime channel,
which dealt with a confronting subject. What were
the challenges of playing your first leading role in
a feature, and dealing with this difficult topic?
I had never heard of 'choking' before. It's a terrible
thing that some kids do, but I didn't find it
confronting because kids these days do a lot of awful
things to themselves.
You have completed filming on another feature,
No Way to Live. Can you tell us about the role you
play in this, and what drew you to take it on?
I was sent the script for No Way to Live mid 2013 and
was asked to put down a tape. The minute I put down
the script I decided it was the best script I had ever
