surprised by the personal connection
that they have formed to your books?
Yes, I’ve received some very touching
messages from people. I remember I
got one from a man in the US army
who said it gave him hope and helped
him find God in a dark time. That was
hard to wrap my head around, because
initially, I just wrote the books for
entertainment. I wasn’t thinking about
the messages behind the story, at least
not consciously. But the fact that my
book was able to help someone, not
just entertain them… I think that’s
pretty awesome.
