Bringing the summer in hot – I’m going back to The Comedy Store for a third show in June. At the end of June, filming a dark-comedy/ horror/ slasher/ thriller feature, that I’m co-writing, producing, directing and acting in, Across Crazy. Ending it hotter than I started it by competing in the Miss Manhattan Beach Pageant in August! One of which brought to my attention that I am gluten intolerant. Yeah, those matzo balls don’t play around. I got great feedback from my show and the producer invited back for another show that was on May 25th, in the Original Room. Didn’t use the same story this time, but I did use a bit from it – I want to keep trying new things and figuring out my style. This time I went on about the reaction I get from guys in Los Angeles when I tell them that I do stand-up comedy. It’s usually, ‘But you’re hot…’ That combined with being called a ‘Shiksa Goddess’, are the best two backhanded compliments I’ve ever gotten. Thanks, guys!
