Do you have a hero in archaeology? I have many but Gordon Childe is one. He was an Australian archaeologist and had an epic life story. Childe was regarded as one of the most important archaeologists and prehistorians of his generation. Known for his work on revolutionary technological and economic developments in human society. He went through a lot of ups and downs and yet achieved so much as an archaeologist. I would call him a pioneer of that time. Would you ever consider working professionally in this field?
