The ancient site of Ephesus in Turkey
uncovered yet. The problem, as in most
countries is the looting that goes on and the
black market. I sound like Indiana Jones, but it
belongs in a museum!
Do you have a hero in archaeology?
I have many but Gordon Childe is one. He was
an Australian archaeologist and had an epic life
story. Childe was regarded as one of the most
important archaeologists and prehistorians of his
generation. Known for his work on revolutionary
technological and economic developments in
human society. He went through a lot of ups and
downs and yet achieved so much as an
archaeologist. I would call him a pioneer of that
time.
Would you ever consider working
professionally in this field?
For now it's a fun hobby, but have often thought I
would later on in life.
