Born in Zimbabwe, Prosper Taruvinga has made a remarkable journey to live and work in several countries as he established his career in marketing, acting and modelling. You were born in Zimbabwe – what was your early life in Africa like? Zimbabwe is such a beautiful country, and I am happy to have been brought up in such a rich and nurturing place. I was (and still am) the first of a family of two. I and my little sister would always fight, but I would not let anyone get near her. I grew up in a suburban area, which was lucky as that meant I was close to school – hence, for an average African kid, it was awesome. How did you start to work in the field of finished it, worked for them for two months, then quit marketing? to work for a safari company that was offering a better package. Since then, I have worked for some I dropped out of college after four months of Law School as there were just so many books to read. I big corporations, namely Nintendo in Germany, and a few I won’t mention in Australia. started working in a clothes shop, and my manager at that time thought I was good with people so I got promoted after two weeks. One day when I was at a managers meeting, they thought it would be worthwhile to invest in my college education, so they decided to send me to school, to obtain a degree. I You have travelled a good deal, working across Southern Africa and Germany. Where are some of the places you have lived, and what has driven your wanderings from home? Do you have a special love for travel?
