Born in Zimbabwe, Prosper Taruvinga
has made a remarkable journey to live and
work in several countries as he established
his career in marketing, acting and
modelling.
You were born in Zimbabwe – what was your
early life in Africa like?
Zimbabwe is such a beautiful country, and I am
happy to have been brought up in such a rich and
nurturing place. I was (and still am) the first of a
family of two. I and my little sister would always
fight, but I would not let anyone get near her. I grew
up in a suburban area, which was lucky as that meant
I was close to school – hence, for an average African
kid, it was awesome.
How did you start to work in the field of
