Breckinridge County Historical Society Recognizes
Sherry Stith as Historian of The Year
The Breckinridge County Historical Society held their annual Christmas
gathering at the home of Ginny Hamm. This event was on Saturday,
December 12 with 18 members and guest present. At this meeting each
year the Historian of the Year is recognized. This year’s recipient was
Sherry Stith of Irvington. Sherry has served as Secretary/Treasurer for the
society since 2007. She was instrumental in getting the society’s website
and Facebook page started. She is involved in several other organizations
such as, Friends of the Holt Home, Inc., Boy Scout Troop 95, Cub Scout
Pack 95, Breckinridge County Arts Guild, and Breckinridge County
Clothesline of Quilts. Sherry and her husband, Rick attend the Lincoln
Trail Christian Church in Irvington.
