REACTIONS

As the rain drops splatter into the puddles and streams
Forming ripples and bubbles ready to pop;
So too our actions of hurtful words and irresponsible gestures
Or peaceful phrases, practicing kindness and paying it forward
Have consequences.
Do we by our actions damage others feelings
Causing the bubbles to explode and scatter negativity?
Or do we by our lives sow seeds of grace
Causing the ripples to intersect and spread love and peace to others?
May the rain that waters our land wash our spirits clean granting us
peace and healing.
