Abbey Players' production of"Merry Christmas, George Bailey." Set in the 1940's and directed by Laura Spell Blum, the show recreates a radio broadcast of the Frank Capra Yuletide classic, It's a Wonderful Life. The play, with a cast of 27 performers, includes a handful of musical numbers, both in the form of vintage musical radio commercials as well as pre-show Christmas caroling by cast members in the lobby. Tickets cost $15 for the regular evening performances (December 5, 11, and 12 at 7:30 p.m. with the doors opening at 6:30p.m. and a pair of 2:00 p.m. matinee shows on December 6 and 13. Tickets for Patron's Night, December 4th, cost $40 apiece.
