Created and originally directed by Ted Swindley, Always…Patsy Cline is based on the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with Houston housewife, Louise Seger. The relationship, which began as fan worship, evolved into one of mutual respect. It is the kind of relationship that many fans would like to have with their heroes. Seger supplies a narrative while Cline floats in and out of the set singing tunes that made her famous—Anytime, Walkin’ After Midnight, She’s Got You, Sweet Dreams, and Crazy—to name a few.

Cité des Arts is proud to showcase this quality piece of entertainment, which features Lisa Irion as Patsy Cline and Jessica Jouclard as Louise Seger, on April 7-17, 2016. Performances are on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are $20.00 and can be purchased online at citedesarts.org or at the door.

Always…Patsy Cline combines humor, sadness, and reality to offer fans that remember Cline while she was alive, a chance to look back, while also giving new fans an idea of what seeing her was like and what she meant to her original fans.
