Stage lighting can not only provide illumination, but
also tell a story and bring out the relevant emotions of
a script through the use of space, colours, changes of
different effects and even imagery. Ms Psyche Chui,
a professional lighting designer, will in this workshop
introduce PolyU Theatre’s Inaugural Performance’s
lighting equipment, and its features and operations. It
will also show participants how a lighting plan is
developed and explain what is involved in lighting
rigging, focus and plotting. The workshop will be
concluded with a visit to the technical rehearsal of the
PolyU Theatre’s inaugural performance at the Jockey
Club Auditorium.
舞臺燈光不單可用於照明，更能利用空間、色調、
效果、影像，推進劇情及渲染劇本的情緒。專業舞臺
燈光設計師崔婉芬小姐將介紹理大劇團創團演出的
燈光設備、其特性及操作重點，並向學員講解燈具
鋪設、聚焦、繪製燈光設計圖的流程。學員最後更會
到賽馬會綜藝館參與技術綵排，親身欣賞理大劇團
創團演出的燈光設計。
